Pricing

Prices for proofreading vary according to length and complexity, so please contact me for a no-obligation quote.  I'm also happy to tailor the level of service to your requirements and adjust price accordingly- just ask!

As a rough guide, however:

Fiction novel, 75,000 words, Full proofread with notes and suggestions: £562.50 (£7.50/1,000 words)

Fiction novel, 75,000 words, Limited (without notes or suggestions): £450 (£6/1,000 words)

Prices vary based on manuscript length, content and your specific needs. Generally speaking:

• Longer manuscripts will work our slightly cheaper per word

• Specialist texts will be a little more expensive, due to the extra complexity involved

• Translation proofreading, marketing and other commercial work will be charged at an hourly rate, currently £25/hour

The standard format for manuscripts is Word, which allows me to use the Track Changes feature, however I'm also happy to work in most other formats such as PDF for marketing literature- let me know your preferences when you get in touch.

Completion times are dependant on project length, complexity and my workload. Get in touch and include your manuscript's details so that I can let you know the price and projected completion date.

As I'm currently based in the UK, my prices are in GBP. However I'm also happy to give a quote in any other currency, including Euros, USD, CAD, ZAR and Bitcoin.
